Altea is hosting the Altea Delicatessen culinary event

ALTEA – The Altea Association of Hotels and Restaurants (AHEA) and the local Chamber of Commerce are organizing the first edition of Altea Delicatessen from June 19 to 28, 2026.
During this 10-day event, 8 local restaurants will present special menus to visitors. The organizers aim to highlight local cuisine and regional products from the sea and the land.

Focus on local cuisine
For this event, the participating chefs are offering specially curated menus. This gives you the chance to sample elaborate dishes that the chefs have created using local ingredients.
With this initiative, the organization aims to strengthen Altea’s culinary reputation within the Costa Blanca. Recently, four restaurants in the municipality received awards from the Repsol Guide. One restaurant was featured in the Michelin Guide.

If you order a meal during the event, you can enter a raffle. Each participating restaurant has a QR code on the table.
After scanning this code, you will automatically be entered into a raffle for products and services from local businesses. Prizes available in the raffle:

-
A bottle of olive oil: courtesy of Melitón Jardín;
-

-
A case of wine: courtesy of Bodegas Codis Belgan.
Participating restaurants and their chefs
- Tío Ennio: featuring chef Pablo Maravilla (my personal recommendation because of the view);
- Bon Vent (Altea Yacht Club): with head chef Fran Domínguez;
- Xe Que Bo: featuring chefs Gregorio and Pepa;
- Noa Lounge & Gourmet: featuring chefs Freddy Blanco and Ekaterina Shirokova;
- Product-O (Hotel SH Villa Gadea): with Executive Chef Nelo Martínez Redolat;
- Xef Pirata: featuring chefs Estela Ivars and Ane Tejedor;
- Talaia Espai Mediterani: featuring chefs Pau García and Kiko Jiménez;
- Casa Vital: featuring chefs Boyana Stateva Miteva, Diyana Boykova Stamova, and Åge Folkestad.
I personally love sitting at Tío Ennio and Casa Vital because you can enjoy the most beautiful views here—both of the harbors of Altea and Albir, and on the other side, the coastline north of Altea and the inland area.
