32 participants FiraCalp 2026

The field consists of 32 different participants:

• 21 Restaurants;

• 6 Shops;

• 3 Cafés;

• 2 Cocktail bars.

Tapas and wine at fixed prices

Each restaurant stand sells four types of tapas and a dessert at fixed prices. You choose from traditional dishes such as rice and fried fish or modern appetizers. The restaurateurs select their own wines to go with their dishes. You can vote for your favorite appetizer for the competition of the best tapa of the fair.

Location at the Plaza Mayor

This gastronomy fair is held in Plaza Mayor in the center of Calpe:

• Access: you will find the main entrance to the site on the side of the surrounding shopping streets;

• Layout: hospitality stalls are arranged around the central square;

• Accessibility: parking garages in the immediate area will remain open for visitors;

• Amenities: public restrooms and rest areas are available on site.

Live music and performances

On the main stage, you’ll see performances by local groups every day. You watch the flamenco school Casa de Andalucía and the music school Unió Musical de Calp.

Several bands play music by Spanish artists such as Amaral, Sergio Dalma and Fito y Fitipaldis. The group Gran Babylon will play during the opening on Thursday night.

Thursday, May 21 (7 p.m. – 1 a.m.):

• 7 p.m.: Opening with a special show;

• 8:30 p.m.: cocktail presentation by Restaurante Óscar and Kuyper;

• 10 p.m.: concert by orchestra La Gran Babylon.

Friday, May 22 (12:00 – 02:00):

• 6 p.m.: theater for children ages 5 to 12;

• 8 p.m.: performance by Xaranga La Xarlotà;

• 10 p.m.: music by tribute bands Amaral and La Oreja de Van Gogh.

Saturday, May 23 (12:00 – 02:00):

• 12:00 p.m.: awards ceremony for accessibility;

• 1 p.m.: wine tasting by Restaurante Safrá;

• 2 p.m.: zumba for children and adults;

• 4 p.m.: healthy smoothies workshop;

• 5:15 p.m.: book signing by Daniel Espejo;

• 7 p.m.: parade of Moros y Cristianos;

• 10 p.m.: music by tribute band Fito y Fitipaldis.

Sunday, May 24 (11:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.):

• 12:30 p.m.: Colombian dancing by Asocolca;

• 1 p.m.: awards ceremony for the best tapa of 2026;

• 1:15 p.m.: book signing by Chelo Peiró;

• 2 p.m.: performance by Casa de Andalucía;

• 4:30 p.m.: salsa workshop by Calpe Salsea;

• 6 p.m.: cocktail show by Restaurante El Chiringuito;

• 6:15 p.m.: book signing by José Luis Luri;
